Smile about ark antenna

I have a 2007 ss cobalt. I was thinking about getting a ark antenna, but how is the radio reception?

Hell I chopped my antenna down to six inches and the reception is unchanged. If ya buy a $30 aftermarket the reception sure as heck better be the same if not better.

Well I use Sirius and got it just for the looks and noticed I cannot get Z103.5 here in Toronto anymore but they are on a weak signal to begin with.

theoretically there will be lost signal, its physically impossible to not loose any, maybe its just that the signal in ur area is so strong that you didnt notice the signal lost.

So far I haven't lost any stations. But I live in Myrtle Beach so the station signals here are pretty strong. If you're in a rural area I would guess you would lose some stations. Depends on signal strength. It looks great though!

Check the ARK website -- the last time I looked the ARK antenna was only for the 6MM thread stud -- 07-up Cobalts have a 7MM thread stud so the ARK won't fit.

I have a Cavy... I just cut the ball off the stock antenna and stuck it back on there. I have listened to the radio for a total of about 30 seconds since I got my car 8 months ago; I'd remove the whole antenna assembly if I could.

ARK themselves said that there is some loss of reception, which is not noticable if you live in town.

You got the only ark antenna with a 7MM thread or your 07 is the one factory Cobalt that still had the 06MM thread. Post the Part number of your ark antenna and measure your thread.

I didn't write the data in my post -- I copied it from the website.

Then your post should have stated it that way. They need to fix their website. Your attitude doesn't deserve a thank you. I only thank nice people.
