Ya my 08 has the 7mm one too, I dont listen to FM so I really dont care its just for looks to me anyways since I have Sirius.

This site is for providing advice to Cobalt owners. I simply stated to check the site because what is provided states that it won't fit the 7MM thread. His first reply to my post was not informative -- rather than provide the information he knew so everyone got the facts. Then his latest post is still, shall we say....childish. If I answered every member's post with a single response like "wrong" when I knew some information -- and that was all -- Well, I'm sure you would be disappointed with them for providing the information you gave too.

i've had an aftermarket antenna on my 99 jetta and lost a ton of reception, it got on my nerves a bit. But using ark's antenna on the balt i don't really notice much loss either

I bought the ebay antenna because ARK says it is just for show, no loss in reception and mine is bigger! Really it looks fine for half the price and reception was NOT compromised.

'06 and earlier cobalts have 6MM antenna mount studs and '07 up Cobalts have 7 MM antenna mount studs. Just make sure what ever company that makes a shorty antenna you go with knows you have a 7MM stud.
