dose anybody know if the rk sport ground effect's are pre painted? or you have to have a body shop paint the ground effect's for you?

 

im pretty sure they are just the grey base color.

 

Almost all aftermarket body parts have to be painted. Have a reputable body shop give u a price to paint and install as most are gel coated and need to be properly prepared for a good paint job ,you may get a good deal and save yourself the hassle of an install for a few dollars more than the paintjob alone ,you might wanna check on the paint thru your dealer and see what the paint itself costs as you might want to, or have to (depending on the shop)provide the paint if your looking to match your original paint.

im getting a truck yes but they have ground effects for the colorado too duhhhhhhhh

Actually to answer the original question they will be a "matte black" color and be 100% made of Polyurethane. They only need to be lightly sanded and cleaned to remove any mold release compound before being painted.

The first run of the 2 door kits are being done right now. We should have kits in by 4-15-05.
I will keep you all posted.
