add a circuit help, trying to install my custom led headlights

Hello,

I have been looking at the mini add-a-circuit. Also, i was thinking of using the sunroof fuse 15 since i don't have a sunroof in my car and its a on/off when the ignition turns on. So would i beable to pull the 15 fuse and attach the add-a-circuit. Replace the 15 fuse with a blown fuse. Then for the added device, put a 3 amp in there which would be for the leds.

thanks

hey since the sunroof is a 15 amp fuse though, can i reduce that down. So with the add-a-circuit, could i put like a 10 for the sunroof and then a 3 for the added source. It really says with the add-a-circuit, to put the same amp in both and not make it be over 10 amps. So like a 5,5 would be perfect but i only need a 3 amp for my leds. Do you know if fuses 21 and 22 are open as i found on another post that they were live.

hey everyone,

I went to radio shack today and picked up the add-on-fuse, 16 guage wire, 3 amp fuses and talked to the guy and he said i need to really find a 5 amp fuse or less to go with this 3 amp. If i use the sunroof, it will blow the 3 amp and the leds probably. now i am just confused on to where i can add this add-n-fuse and use the 3 amp fuses for the leds without blowing anything up. Any help would be appreciated. I see swc bklt is a (2a) fuse. Also i see under the hood is a 5 amp fuse for the mirrors. Can anyone please help me with this as i dont want to short my led headlights out.
