Question adjusting my C/F trunk HELP!!!!!!!!!

could someone help me out and tell me how to line up my shaved carbon fiber trunk? lol
its on the car.

anyone help me please!!!

its up about half an inch on the left at the very back of the trunk
and the whole right sid is up about 2/8 of an inch. not too bad.

how much would a body shop charge me to aline it?
or can i do this myself

if you need pics to see where its not lining up i can take some tomorrow when i mess with it some more.

Tighten the bolts on the hinges. There the ones that don't physically hold anything lol. I would take pics but I'm outta town on Buisness. If that doesn't help pm me and I'll do my best to try and describe it better lol

haha the ones that are just... there.... aha
i know what your talking about.tighten them all the way? the one on the right side is. the left one i left alone. that will lower it on the very back of it? where the corner is where up is the deck and down is the back of the trunk, where the lights are?

Well you adjusted the right bolt and now it sits lower than the left side. Just tighten the left bolt all the way and that should work. If it doesn't then probably the trunk wasn't formed right.

The warehouse near my house went through a ton of trunks before they found the right fit for me

welli thought that would only adjust the part close to the window, not twards the rear

thing is the guy i bought it from has pics of it fitting his perfectly. i am about to runn outside and try this lol

here is the thread with pics where i bought it
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/parts-66/f-s-shaved-carbon-fiber-trunk-177701/

well i just went outside and tighted that one bold that is just kinda there. i know its for when the trunk is closed. it helped out ALOT actually. i need to adjust a few minor things and i think it will be ok.

I'm not sure what to do about the gap at the back of the trunk. That's odd. Is the bottom of the trunk hitting the bumper or is there room to go down still. Once again that's makes sense to me haha. Leme know!

no there is still room between the bumper and the trunk. its getting tighter though
i will lower the stationary latch (on the car not trunk) tomorrow a tad more and see if that works.
i need to shift it to the right a tad too...

Unbolt the trunk from the latches again and adjust there too. Look at which way the trunk will go and move the trunk accordingly. I'm pretty sure that's all that can you can do.

yea thats what im gonna do. but lowering that latch will bring that gap and the back down some more.
if i lower it too low then the latch wont catch and it wont shut at all.
