I really want to get rid of this wing on the back of my car. I've only had the car for 2 days but every time i look in the rear view it pisses me off. Ha Ha. I got a qoute from a body shop for $478 to do all the work: take off the parts, weld the holes, and respray with clear.
Do i have any other options besides doing a low rise wing? I really don't have the money now and i don't want to leave it on until i do. Does anyone sell litte plugs to fill the wholes? What has everyone else that has removed the wing done?

 

well you can sell the wing after you take it off to help offset the costs...

 

i took my wing off and covered the holes with vinyal that matched my car until i get it patched

 

btw this is rlly the only way because our spoiler holes arent just circles, their a weird kidney shape so you cant just plug it

Sell it on ebay. when it sells rip it off mail it to the guy. Then ride over to the body shop with the cash. use paypall

 

Find a local member with no spoiler willing to swap trunks. Or take it off and use vinyl. Very easy and people won't notice it.

 

If your wanting to sell it I will most likely take it. Just takes some pics of it on the car for me and let me know what the paint is like on it! Also, does it mount to the stock holes?

 

You may want to look at a CF trunk deck. Well I have a black car so it wouldn't look bad at all. Have been thinking CF trunk teck and CF hood. Yea I know silly.
