I took the thing off today, have yet to finish pulling the foam off, it's a bitch even with goo gone. Got the holes filled temporarily though.

Should of kept the wing. I know some people don't like it but to me it is what seperates the looks of our car from the P.O.S base models. I have grown to love the look of my whale tail

POS base models?? yeah all of us who have bases may have wished they bought an SS but just couldnt afford it, does not mean you have to go knocking on the cars we got...i still love my cobalt and its a base...

 

Im sorry I thought about that after I typed it. If there is one thing I want to make clear I am not hating on your income level..... I just really dislike the base models..... I would never knock on someones living/income situation............

I'm probably going to get some tint when springtime comes around, probably 35% all around since michigan law says tint is illegal in the front and front sides.

 

i agree with you about the part that it seperates our cars from the base models but they certainly arent P.O.S... i think you should keep an open mind obout your own kind.

 

If you like wing, keep it, if you don't take it off, its all about personal preference!

Yeah, definately. It was weird being able to completely see the cars that were behind me when I was out on the street for a bit earlier.

and here i thought it was the S/C engine, suspension, breaks, GFX that seperated base from S/C. I think its real funny when S/C people get all upset cause someone put that ricer wing on a base car.

Some one who really knows there stuff can tell the difference between base and S/C. For those that can't--don't worry about it.

i have a black one too and im REAL close to a discision as to whether or not to take mine off or not. i keep trying to picture it with tinted windows and lowered...(im gonna do that soon too...lol) ive also been thinking about the rk flush mounted spoiler as well...

 

what do you fill in the holes with now?
