Another Mod...Custom Made Canards!
So I was looking for something new to add today and my friend mentioned he had some extra Orange Carbon Fiber. I've been wanting canards for a while so I decided today was a perfect day for a new project. Check out the pics below, yes it's real CF and I lined the edges with the stuff that's suppose to protect your the edge of your car doors when you open it. We mounted them with Elbow brackets from Home Depot, and rivet them in. We also made some back ones as well since we had extra, and I feel it matched the the front really well and complimented the rear bumper. Let me know what you guys think...

You did a good job putting it on and it looks clean but I'm not a fan of it. I woulda left it the way it was. There is a thing of doing too much to a car but whatever floats your boat I guess. I think the car looked bad ass with the hood, body kit,and rims.

I wish they would make a front and rear diffuser but I don't like that at all.Guess it matches the rest of the car.Did you make sure you aligned them perfectly balanced?

thanks all for the feedback...I mainly put them on because they get points at shows, it's just something a little extra ya know, but I do agree there's a lot going on in the front of the car, but atleast it's not too heesy I hope. I really do appreciate you guys complimenting my work, even though it's not your style, everyone's entitled to their opinion and their likings...thanks again!!!
the are aligned parallel to each other, however we noticed that the body kit, since made of fiberglass, wasn't exactly the same on both sides so the curves along the body are different, also we had to take an extra inch of the rear passenger side cause the rear bumper wasn't symmetrical either.

great...now I'm rethinking them and they've only been on a couple hours. I'm going to talk to my buddy who judges for HIN and see what he says about the possible points

it looks like you did a good job making em, but really i dont feel like they coplment the lines of the cobalt., since the cobalt is a little more rounded aas a car, so the sharper angles of the canards dont realy compliment that imo
