in my opinion its the sharp edges on the outer edges of them that kill the look....if you were to make those more rounded then i think they would look good....would i ever do it hell no, but does it look well done yes.

 

a guy with a suzuki (car) installed fake carbon fiber ones around here with wood screws he was outside like cleaning or polishing his new addition and i just lol needless to say he doesnt have them anymore. But he has other parts that make him a total ricer. But idk i just don't feel them on your care i like the craftsmanship its really clean but if you like it that is all that matters.

 

i think it looks good.... great job, can you post pictures from further away in day light so we can get a feel for how the whoole car works togather.
