Antenna Mod

So rather than do the usual thing that people do and buy a shorty, I just moved mine elsewhere. Just had to be different. When I get the spare cash I'm getting the stock location shaved clean. In any case, I just know some people are gonna think this looks like ****, but I like it, and it's my car so whatever lol.

It is more of a preference thing. Props to you just for being original.

Removed the XM antenna entirely. I'm just using the same hole it was using.

I just cut my stock one down with a grinder.

only 15"'s tall, looks a thousand times better, and still picks up signal (Y) even though I don't use the radio so it doesn't matter lol

but this looks good. Congrats on being the first to do this (or at least I think you are)

ugly. Would look 10x better as just a shark fin type in that location. Or at least cut 80% of that off.

Still looks like an RC car. I like it much better on the roof though. Personally I would cut it where is changes from the thick base to the antenna wire.

If I get another mast I'll toy around with cutting it down some but for now I'm gonna leave it. It is however slightly shorter than the stock one by a few inches, you just can't tell unless it's next to one.
