Any fix for the falling sunroof switch bezel?

Any fix for the falling sunroof switch bezel? In my previous cobalt SS I used gorilla glue, double sided velcro tape, and painters tape, and it still never looked good. I bought a new one, but it diddnt seem to clip into the headliner.

Any ideas?

I was going to use that blue foam insulation stuff from home depot or lowes. cut into like 1" wide X as long as I could fit up in there glue a piece to the back of the switch like it came.

Then use a dab of liquid nail on the upper side of the metal bracket.
Let that dry, then snap the switch in. and cover.

**Mine the sides where the metal bracket clamps on is very thin from the previous owner trying to fix it so before I put the bracket back in I was going to add a piece of cardboard or something. So the clamps would actually hold. hope urs isnt this bad.

superglue... really the only fix I've found... already took it to the dealership, fell off a month later.. I put some Gorrilla Glue in 2 days ago, an held it there for like 10-12 seconds and its stuck, looks stock, an I dont have to worry about it

Did you guys break your clips on the bezel? All I had to do was bend the metal tabs back into place and it works fine now.....

i used quite a bit of caulk actually to get mine to work.. i just taped it up until the caulk set and then took the tape off once the caulk was dry..

its been holding great for 2 years!

my metal bracket has the clamps on it still GM just didn't leave enough material around there imo. mine doesn't have a solid spot to clamp to. it slides left right front and back.. that's why I was going to try the cardboard thing..
