Just wondering, i wanted to get customized plates on my ss just wondering if any of you guys out there had any ideas? I live in Canada so we are allowed 7-8 letters/numbers


first example: MYCHVY SS

need more ideas......

 

WSTOFMNY .... lol i like mine 736-RMH lol it has charactor and it doesnt cost extra

 

at least with 7-8 letters you can make something relatively decent.

Here in Wyoming we only get 4

so maybe I would be getting CBLT or CHEV .. otherwise I'd just do my name MIKE if available heh

 

I was thinking of getting commotion in some form on my plates. Since the adds sat something about the cobalt causing commotion in the chevy family. kmoshun kmoshn something like that

A personalized plate that mocks other cars is a sure way to get your car keyed.
I'd stay away from that personally...

 

My plates are "BLOWN SS". The idea came from this site. Thanks for whoever came up with it.

 

Get one that reflects your personality or a favourite word that you like.

I want to get one of those clear plastic protectors for my front plate but the black mount only fits the plate. Any ideas?

I'm not sure that personalized plates will help avoiding the kids keying your car but I have in mind a few possible plate names. I'm only going to post after I get the one I want though. As far as a plate that mocks other cars............that is a sure way to ask for it!!!!!!!! and kismyss I don't think will go through......there are a list of no no's that you can not use.

I don't doubt it, but it'd be worth a try. convincing them that being an ss it wouldn't be taken as ass would be pretty chalenging though.

 

Well it all depends on what your vanity plate says if you are worried about getting your car keyed etc. For example SRT4KLLR this will get your car keyed. Now something like BLOWNSS will not since it is not pertaining to anouther car it just explains something about the car its on...I don't know if your following me here but its all good LOL....I have one in mind but i'm keeping it secret until I decide on either a vanity plate or a black and white tag...Not sure yet!

 

Really? I'm surprised that passed the plate approval committee. Then again, I've seen a plate that said "BJ ____" (can't remember how it ended).

See, my initials are SSS. Is that too corny? Did it make sense when you first read it? I see people with cars that say like GJR Z28 or whatever, where they put their initials. It just happens that all the letters would be the same when I do it.

I'm getting KD8BFQ, my amateur callsign. Okay, so its kinda lame, but also kinda useful if another ham spots you on the hwy.

 

I used PBiddy ... Nickname I had since third grade. My name brought it about. No it wasn't a copy off PDiddy either. A kid in third grade came up with it(Yes he was black and my best friend!).
