They look similar to gen4s but made by eagle eye headlights

I honestly hate the led strip thats why they caught my eye..Im also curious as to how bright they are

 

Light output on Gen 1, 2 and 3s are about the same and not too great. Gen 4's are the best in terms of quality and light output out of all the "Gens".

Retrofitting will get you optimal light output and quality.

 

Gen 2s have the worst output of all the halo headlights

 

Ebay lights stay away, they will all fail. Go Retro!

 

Had my gen 4 2 years still work fine bought them off ebay

 

I have some gen 2s with ccfl rings and black eyebrow that I might sell

 

I gotta say of all the aftermarket headlights for our cars those probly look the least ugly

Cough* biased cough*cough* I have a set of aftermarket projector headlights I bought'' off a user on here and they aren't bad, but still can't wait to do a retrofit on my factories. Nothing is better or more satisfying than doing it yourself and having something that everyone else can't just buy.

 

if you buy these headlights you automatically loose 20-30whp true story...

I have a set of 1st gens that I painted and added CCFL rings to, one of the leads broke for the outer rings so I just snipped the wires since it isn't repairable without buying new rings. Also replaced the clear lenses with OEM plastic, the original lenses were peeling and flaking.

 

If they worked 100% I may buy em

Only thing that doesn't is the outer rings don't light up because one of the leads broke on the ring. Other than that though they're g2g. 6k HID lows and halogen highs, modded the wiring so highs and lows are on at the same time when you turn on the highbeams.
