Anyone crack open taillights?

Has anybody cracked open our stock taillights? Kinda like we do our headlights?

I can NOT get these buggers to open! Been in the oven for 30 mins now at 230 and they wont budge!
Any other tips?

i wouldn't bake em for 2 long, you'll melt the plastic.. I used a blowdryer with mine.. you gotta watch out 2 cuz theres a thick layer of this black sealant stuff that sticks to everything and never comes out

Finally got it. My sealant had dried out completely so it didnt get tacky like on the headlights. Had to chisel it out with a flat head screwdriver.

Lets the custom LED "retrofit" begin!

how do you reseal the front headlights? everytime i wash my car, which is at least every other week, my right headlight gets all fogged up and it just looks hideous.

Use windsheild sealer all around..its what I did no more leaks.

The Headlights sealant is a joke to remove compared to the Tails.

I used black silicone on mine (non-shrinking) Havent had problems for over a year. do two coats to be extra certain
