Anyone have vinyl eyelids?

I know its easier to paint them on, but I have a set of vinyl eyelids for my car. Anyone have these also, any tips on getting them on due to the folding around the curve? Thanks!

spray the headlight with warm soapy water, and same with the back of the vinyl (sticky side) use a blowdryer to conform it to the curves, squeegee out the excess water and boom you're done.

Won't that take the sticky off?

I got mine thru houseofgrafx.com they are not on the website as of yet due to them waiting for fitment and pictures from me for these. But ebay also has some too.

And everyone else thanks for the help! I had kind of figured some heat would help.

it wont take the adhesive off, you're just using the soapy water as a lubricant. that way you can position the eyelids around on the headlight before getting a final result. once you squeegee the excess water out, the adhesive will cling to the light (as it dries more, still dont mess around with the vinyl for a day or so, unless its really sunny/hot out)

indeed....its like that when you lay your vinyls ...when we laid my vinyl stripes we sprayed the back of the vinyl and the car to make it slide around till we decided where we wanted it then squeegy out the water...it sticks like a **** when it heats up an the water evaporates
