My driver right side seat bolster is broke and I have a friend who is an awesome welder. I removed the driver seat without a problem and I got the headrest off, unclipped the plastic locking piece at the bottom of the recliner in crease. But it looks like I have some material on both sides of the seat that is wrapped around the shaft that goes through the seat. Ummm now I’m stumped on what I should do next. I see 3 nuts under the trim panels but if I remove the seatback from the seat bottom, will I have a mess with the tension of the recliner? Or am I needing to go about this another way?
