I'm pretty sure they are pop rivited on. You just have to get a drill motor and a small drill bit and drill the center of it out.

He said front license plate not the rear.

That i do not know. I know you can get them filled by plastic welding because i've done it before but not sure as far as a plug. Sorry

Yes some did come with screws but this one was rivited on. More than likely if it came from the dealer with it already on the front bumper it was pop rivited on the car not screwed.

You can drill them out and fill them carefully with plastic bondo and then use touch up paint to cover -- take your time and it can come out OK -- not any less noticable then plugs.

Be careful too when drilling them out as they tend to start spinning when you get close to drilling the tops off.

One thing to remember. "Plastic Bondo" that red07SSNA is talking about is called "Polyflex" It is a bondo that can stretch with the movement of the plastic with less chance of cracking.

BUT...Here is the issue...When using any kind of filler to fill a void on a surface that is in contact with direct sunlight for the majority of its life, remember the bumper will flex so you "might" see the circles even after words. Just a little FYI from the auto body technician side of things.

Like i said the only way to do it right is to plastic stick weld. Then u are using the existing plastic and adding some new to fill in the whole just like plug welding with a MIG welder. There is a slim chance of seeing any kind of marks of it ever being there.

it'd been nicer if they didn't put it on at all but they put that stupid black holder on all their cars there..

I woulda told them to take that **** off.

I had a dealer plaque on the back of my truck when I bought it in 05 and i told them to take it off that if they wanted publicity that word of mouth works better than ruining a paint job... They tried taking it off and ended up repainting the tailgate because they fucked it up.

i would have kicked my salesman ass, had they drilled holes in my front bumper

bad enough they put a sticker on the back of the car, i took it off, they put another one after my first oil change

i had a few words, with the people in service, they wont be attempting to put it back there anymore
