Anyone swapped oem projectors into aftermarket headlights?
Anyone swapped oem projectors into aftermarket headlights?
I'm going to put some oem projectors into my Gen2s.
Here's where I need help: Im trying to figure out which ones will be the closest in size to the ones out of the gen2s
My goal is to keep the adjustability the same.
Some cutting and probably some jb weld will be necessary but it will be.
I know there was someone on here who did a quad projector with gen3s(maybe) but I can't find him.
:edit: found him

Are you looking at doing a quad retrofit? If you are then there are very few projectors that are round all the way that would fit. Most projectors are oval and only the lense is round. Here are links to two that would work. The first is a bixenon, you would use this in your low beam. You could leave it as a low beam or wire it up so both your high beam projector and this one would be on at the same time. Lots of high beam light.

You can also swap a clear lense onto this one and get a better output. The second is strictly a high beam projector that is small and should fit.

In most case you are going to have to create a new mounting bracket that will work with the stock adjusters. I am basing this off the chrysler 300 lights that I did. They were aftermarket projector headlights that I put some G35 projectors with clear lense swap in to. I needed to make a bracket to mount the projector to, that also attached to the adjusters. These were also not round projectors so it may be easier for you.
