just twist off your current antenna and then screw on your shorty antenna. it's pretty much that easy.

Some are cross wired dude, and those are on the older models of lower trim (USUALLY). Just go out there right now, unscrew your antenna, if it comes off easily then you're ok. I can do mine with my hands. MY first car, 05 LS, was cross threaded and wouldn't come off.

You can do it with your hands. Just go do it man. You shouldn't be worried about something this easy.

well first you have to remove the rear 1/4 pannel off the car, do this by drilling out the factory welds, than once u have the 1/4 pannel off, remove all the carpet in the trunk..... than get ur plamsa cutter, and start cutting around the base of the antenna, than poke ur new one through the hole, weld it on, than put the 1/4 pannel back on, re weld the pannel. and install the carpet. you may need to touch up the paint. hope this helps.

If your worried about your old antenna use a wrench with a towel wrapped around the bottom fo the stock antenna and screw off..its very easy.

about ark antenna

I purchased a ark antenna for my 2007 ss cobalt, but when I tried to screw it on, it would only go on part of the way. I turned it by hand as far as I could, but couldn't turn it anymore. Anyone else have this problem? I called Ark and was told to send it back and they would send out another one.

You got the wrong size. our 07's need a 7mm bolt.
