arm rest?

arm rest?

Im hoping this is not a repost but will this arm rest work on the 08 ss manual version. i dont understand why the manual tranny wont allow the arm rest to work.

check to make sure it comes with everything for mounting, such as the bolts, and most especially the mounting plate. When I went to do this I ordered the console and didn't realize you needed cup holders and other parts until it came it. I had to wait for it again because of it having to be ordered by my dealership. btw, i've done a few these and approximate install time is ~30 minutes.

Weird decisions by GM again. My 07 is a stick and came with an armrest. I dunno why they left it out of so many cars.

The armrest anchors into the centre console area, underneath all the plastic. Yes it will fit, and it tips up and out of the way if/when you want to use your e brake.

i love the armrest with the manual tranny. best ergonomic upgrade u can do :-P

it takes a lil time getting used to shifting with the armrest there, but once u get used to it, it's great. i love restin my elbow and shiftin lol

yep,put one in my 09,works great and can be swung up out of the way when you want to get aggressive!!!!
