Back seat removal

Hi, does anyone know how to remove the back seat in my cobalt, not the seat part but the part that flips down? Im trying to fit a sub into the trunk but cant seem to get the seat out

two tabs in the trunk,pull them and the seats will fold down...there on the roof of the trunk right in the front,2 separate tabs sorry i dun have a picture

fold the seats down. on the passenger side if you look down in the bottom corner of the seat, where you would think a hinge would be, is actually just a metal piece that you can push in with a big flat head screw driver. do that and pull the seat up at the same time. same for the other side

lulz. i'm pretty sure he knows how to fold the seats down.

took me and a buddy of mine forever to figure out how to fold my seats down. We actually didn't, he had googled it. conveinient spot unless you don't know its their.

Its pretty simple. I took mine out in about 30 minutes to 45. I did the same thing to fit two 12s in.

I can remove by back seat in about 30 seconds, it's not that hard. The fold down pieces are just clipped in as mentioned, and the bottom just clips in as well. The only pain in the ass part is the black bar thing the seat backs mount to, but that doesn't need to move to put subs in anyway.

30 to 45 minutes for rear seats??? smack the bottom of the heat in a forward and upward motion where the two clips hold it. bam out in 10 seconds. fold the rear seats down and take a big flathead screwdriver to push the clip in on the outer sides and pull up at the same time. 30 seconds for each at most
