Question Badge removal?? Help

I wanna remove my side SS badges.. I may paint them not really sure.. I would also like to take Cobalt off the trunk.. Any tips??

heat gun and fishing line heat it up just enough so its hot than put the fishing line behind it and pull down in a sawing motion. just keep them off don't paint them

Its just the black glue stuff holding them on right?? I used a hairdryer and line for rear bowtie

yeah thats all they come off easy the bowtie was the hardest

Iight hopefully the paint is not faded behind them.. I may paint them glossy black just to see what they look like

i pulled my rear chevy emblem off after 3 years and the paint wasnt faded, i did it to paint it but never put it back on since it looks better off just use some goo gone to get the tacky stuff off and then a nice coat of wax and you're done

Might sound a little strange, but Ive always used those plastic straps that come on boxes. They are stiff and will saw in the goo. Then I use wd40 to get the goo off the trunk.

sometimes the paint shows signs because theres layered wax aorund it so the finish looks a little different, atleast mine did. simple fix, a little polish+wax action, claybar if your feeling precocious

yes after you get all the sticky stuff off claybar your whole trunk and wax it and you wont even know that they where there!
