best bulb

i want to do the yellow fog lamps and i have been searching and everyone has difforent ideas. what would be the best bulb that would be nice and yellow and wont run to hot that it will damage the wires. i dont want HIDs just bulbs.

Just get a set of Nokya 2500 stage 1. They wont burn up your wires they run the same as the stock bulbs if not a little cooler. You can get them off ebay or anywere really. Look at my thread you can see how yellow they are.

I've been exploring this option and doing a little research. The Nokya hyper yellow stage 1 2500k H11 bulbs seem to fit the bill for best bang for the buck, but still have a quality bulb. I found them on eBay for $16 a pair including shipping.

i had those bulbs and the fillament fell off inside lol. they were only a couple months old too.

Both or just one? Any brand can have a few faulty products of course. I've had Nokya yellow fogs on my GTO for about 2 years now, no problem. Not H11 bulbs, but same brand and type.

why would you not want HIDs
i have them in my headlights. so i thought i would just do normal bulbs for the fog lamps.
