Exclamation best/expensive head lights need help

i need some help guys. i havent done much to my balt for a while now. and it seams prices have gone down alot on stuff since i bought the car in 06. my issue is i have halo/projector head lights and my gfs dad backed into me. its going through insurance and a estimator is coming to look at my car sometime this week. i dont have my reciept for the head lights and i know they will jump on google and find the cheapest ones and write it out for that. what should i do? any web sites i can have them look at that is more realizstic to what i paid not the low ebay prices on alot of them now? also what is the best quality once out there now? or are they about all the same unless you have custom retros made? i dont want to go that route but i am looking to purchase the more expensive best quality ones. thanks chris

Honestly if they give you OEM prices (which I think they would go off of regardless) you can get yourself a nice set of retros for just a little bit extra. The stuff on Ebay is pretty decent in most cases and a lot of them come with a good warranty if you are just looking to get another set of OEM style ones. Fitment shouldn't be an issue because the headlights from the factory had horrible gap to them right off the line lol.

I believe unless your mods were insured they just replace with stock parts.

Either way, insurance company's use the same standards when repairing someones car especially when it is not their customer directly.
