Not entirely sure, one of them Dtek or something. He got them from AutomotiveLightingUSA.

So basically the HID conversion is just like replacing the factory lights? It always seemed far more advanced than that...

they come with ballasts. which pretty much amplifies the light output. kind of like an amp for your speakers.

I have matching sets for heads/fogs. They are MTec Cosmos from AutomotiveLightingUSA.com as Alleycat58 said. They look nice from the outside, but they do suck as far as visibility goes. The fogs are nice... but the headlights are pretty bad. They'll do until I figure out if I'm going to get halos or just do an HID conversion.

Video, I'm having a "special" moment...

On the site, is the Pure Vision Kit the one that will fit the Cobalt, I don't see 9007 marked anywhere. Do I just have to mark 9007 in the comments? Just want to make sure, if I order them, that everything fits just fine. And if I want the fogs too, do I just order two sets and mark 9007/H11 in the comments?

Up by Best Buy/Home Depot in Robinson? I thought I saw a black SS pass the other way, but I didn't catch a good look at it. I stopped at HD for some hose fittings around 5:30ish.

Thats basically how I would sum that up, too. The fogs seemed brighter than stock, but definatly not the headlights, thats why I went with the HID's. Hoping to put them in tonight.

Got any pics? I don't think I've seen any yellow HID's on a Cobalt yet.

^^^They are the same. I got my HID's in tonight and new foglights as well. I can't get over the increase in visibility, its amazing actually. Love the look as well. I'll try to get pics up as soon as I can. Install took about 40 minutes, was my first time putting in HID's so I didn't think it was bad.

Yea, finally got some dry weather and put them in. Its a huge difference over my old Luminics and the stock headlights. I would definatly get these on my future cars as well after seeing how nice clean, clear, and crisp they are.

Is there anyway of getting a red HID kit?? ive seen diff. color xenon lights before(blue, white, yellow, red, green, etc.) but never on HID's.. I think Red would look cool and differant.... I aslo have Luminics and they look cool, but they suck when your driving, even worse in the rain.....cant see ****.....

I've never seen red HID's, just yellow, white, blue, and purple. I hear ya about those Luminic bulbs though, awful for visibility, but nice appearance.

What's the best bulbs without going HID? Like PIAA or something?

And BTW, from the post like a month or so ago, yes, that was me in the black SS going the other way.
