best method to remove light nightshading

wut do u guys think the best method to remove nightshade off is? i have one that is peeling and id like to redo it and clear it this time. i didnt clear the first time.

i wet sanded till it was gone then resprayed and cleared when i redid mine

Make sure to use a good etch primer if you get it to the bare metal. I like SEM rattle can stuff, it's a little pricey but really works well.

Acetone works great at removing VHT Night Shade.

Make sure to wet sand after applying acetone, as it discolors the plastic a tad until re-cleared.

wut grit is good for wetsanding? And can u use the same grit in between coats and also when clearing?>

If you get to the bare metal you probably sanded a little too much of the tail light.

I've heard brake fluid takes it off. Acetone seems to be the way to go though.

yea paint thinner should work fine. But just go find some wet sandpaper, and feel it for one thats a little bit rough and one that feels like paper, like such a high grit you can barely feel it. Then start with the coarser one, then the smooth one, then paint.
