Best Mud Flaps for SS/TC???

Got a black '09 SS/TC sedan, what are the best mud flaps to use? Prefer no-drill.

Thanks,

Chris

Does someone have any advice on this? Like actual advice, not opinions on whether or not I should do this? Black is a major pain in the ass to keep clean, and rock chips show up very easily, and there is a ton of snow/salt in the Northeast. I don't judge the tastefulness of anyone else's "visual mods," please do the same for me. Thanks.

I agree completely with this especially in the winter time around here. I know Chevy makes a nice set but I have no idea how they are mounted.

Mud flaps can be a visual mod, they make some civics and STis look badass, although I have no info on them for cobalts, bump

I'll check out the Chevy set, thanks. Apparently at least 1 other person on this forum is over the age of 19 with an IQ above 60....

eric every thread I've looked at today has had a negative reply from you;

having a bad day maybe??

you didn't need to state your opinion here four times to get it across - one time was sufficient.

another words: STFU.

@ FAT POPS;
Were I in your shoes, I'd first look at what GM offers, odds are they fit as good as, or better than anything the aftermarket has to offer.
YOU could probably use two sided (3m) tape - like what cars use these days for holding on emblems/trim - or try to mount them with the same spots/anchors that the inner wheel wells use...

Take your time, and you should be good...

I have thought about buying a bra for winter/road trips, but apparently nothing works with the SS/TC grille, so I'd have to also change my grille for this to work...

Go to a Vinyl shop and get the parts you are trying to protet wrapped in a color to match or get a 3m clear bra for the areas.

mudflaps are good for protecting your paint and shyt. whoever says fail can go eat a dick theres a reason why ppl get then, and its not because "zomgg!! that looks sick holmes!" its functional.

ericft79, you should do some research.

No issue with anyone voicing their opinion but hey, once is enough!

I 100% agree mud flaps add nothing to styling, and probably detract in most cases, but I just wanna save my paint job. Just got this car after trading in my 07 with 59K, having seen the paint deteriorate over that time was enough for me to want to invest in some protection.

@samsungthing, thanks for the links, but the GM # in the 2nd thread you listed is now discontinued (12497400). Anyone know the new # for universal GM mud flaps?

And yeah, no GM # for the SS/TC in particular as best I can tell...

Chris

people buy mudflaps for their cars so they dont kick up rocks, dirt, salt, etc on the car as much. its not becuse they want to go offroading in thier cobalt. mudflaps can be pretty useful in the winter time. then once summer rolls around, uninstall. some ppl make me wanna slam my face in the wall.
