I was a little concerned that rock was just waiting to go though That Big Hole!. I found this billet grille from Keystone. I think I'm gonna get the one for the upper grille too.

Has anyone heard one of these hampering the airflow through the intercooler?

 

umm these cars don't have intercoolers...they have after coolers andthey aren't down by the rad.

So I would guess....no?

 

They have a heat exhanger in the front and a water to air intercooler after the supercharger. That should not effect airflow enough to make a difference since it is already sandwiched between the radiator and the AC condensor.

 

actually, there are 3 finned 'radiators' in that area and the 'intercooler radiator' is the middle one. If there is doubt, do a search. There is debate about intercooler vs. aftercooler. Either way, it takes a liquid and cools it then it gets pumped through the intake manifold below the supercharger.

I thought it was right out front. Acutally never really looked just assumed. I should no better too. What a Wally huh??

 

The first one is the A/C, the intercooler exchanger then the Radiator..
