Big SS badge

i ordered the impala ss badge to replace my chevy emblem on the grill..so when i get the badge im gonna take it to the body shop so they can put it on there and paint all the ss badges black....

will the ss be overlapping the grill....or is it even that much of a difference??

The "smaller" SS emblem size that comes on the trunk lid and door of the Cobalt better fits the grill and looks better too. I have an Imperial Blue (very dark blue) and I like the stock look of the smaller SS emblem. The larger SS ones look too big in proportion to the rest of the grill/car. The standard pearl color SS emblems look the best (to me). No matter how you position either of the SS emblems, you still see the two mounting holes left from the bowtie emblem.
