Black Cat Custom Gauge Help
Black Cat Custom Gauge Help
To those whom have installed the cluster face, I need some help.
I have bought one for my girlfriend's '10 LT and I am having a hell of a time with "zeroing" the needles.
I have the key turned on/engine off position and I zero out the speedo and tach. Start the car and things are getting odd - especially with the tach.
I adjust it to 850 RPM for idle on her 2.2L and when the car gets turned off it drops to a resting position of 100 RPM.
Then when the needles "dance" after the key is out of the ignition, the speedo drops below zero as it should but the tach stays at 100, which means at startup it "idles" at 1400 RPM, which requires me to manually adjust it again.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

^you need to pull them off to put on the faces
did you take the needles off properly? i.e., turning them counter clockwise while pulling out? also, be sure that you didn't push them in too hard as they may be rubbing on the gauge face if pressed in too far.

Took them off correctly, I think I may have pushed them in too far though.
