MERCS are damn good lookin. He could make some money on the side if he manufactured and sold a few pairs. It'd take time but it'd be worth it for him and for the buyer.

Well going against the judgement of many others i think the black projectors are very appealing to the eyes and give a Black SS/SC a very sexy and sleek look. I would prefer that hey were able to handle HIDs just makes the whole look better. I think ill bite the Bullet and get a set. Also what does SAE and DOT approved mean?

SAE=Society of Automotive Engineers.
DOT=Department of Transportation.
Means that those two standards organizations authorize the headlight enclosure (or anything else in context) for use on public roadways.

did anyone noticed that noone bid on the black ones and now the black and the chrome ones are available to "buy now". Im thinking these should be coming out soon by a proper company and the guys on ebay are trying to get as much money out of them as they can before they hit the market. Last night i was so close to bidding on the black ones. But after shipping and not knowing how exactly they work with what bulbs etc, I could do it. My guess is april may.

I just got mine yesterday. They do not use the 9007 bulb. They have a plug to seperate the bulbs. I don't know what size the bulb is. And no you can't use hids with it. It is pretty easy to hook up though. You just plug the stock plug into the plug on the back of the light. And the halo you'll have to wire into the parking light / turn signal. I'll do a complete how to with pics later today and prob. post tonight.
