Blacked out interior
Blacked out interior
I did this with my last car, but I see that the head liner, a, b, and c pillars are plastic wrapped in stretched material...am I right?
Well I sanded down and all my old car a, b, c, primered, sanded, sprayed with certain paint for interior and headliner with a different one...looked MUCH BETTER. Anyone done this with your cobalts? I think maybe just the SS S/C have the stretched material over the plastic....
If so, what do you recomend? DIY on it? Reference? Pictures please
Thanks!

im in the middle of doing this right now.... if you want to keep the oem texture like me i used a gold 3m scuff pad with spies and hekker scuffing paste. scuffed everything down and rinsed it thourgly. apply an adhesion promotor and let it set for the time provided. im using paint code 848 which is the factory black color.

I have like a beige colored interior and I was wondering for that plastic material covering the center console, dash, pillars and all of that....what paint would you use? would just reguar black spray paint work and is there a special type of paint for it?
when i blacked out my sedan's interior i used krylon fusion "paint for plastics". i used the satin black, it wasn't too glossy or too flat.
if you want look in my build thread theres pics of mine.
