Body Kit Question

New Cobalt owner here.
I recently bought a black 08 LS which goes nicely in the driveway with my black Silverado SS and GF's black Impala SS.
Has anyone bought and installed this kit from GMTunerSource?
http://tunersource.gmblogs.com/Acces...fects-package/

It looks like it works well with the LS which is what I have. I'd prefer the SS body kit, but I don't want to get into swapping out the front and rear bumper fascias which from reading here, is what it would take.

While I'm at it, has anyone here bought that GM center console/arm rest and installed it? I had the dealer order one and wanted to know if it is an easy install, or something I should just pay them to do. Thanks.

Look's a bit gay if you ask me. But body kits = fail & rice on cobalts. Best get SS bumpers.

its a lip kit....and it looks good just very subtle and may not get noticed much....but i say if you want go for it....and the center console cant be to hard you should be able to do it yourself

Give it a whirl man, don't build an SS clone, there is already a ton of them out there, heh.

Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated. I'm guessing no one has installed the center console. That's cool. I can wing it. Maybe take pics in the process.

This is a driver car 80-90 miles per day (parked the Silvy) and I just want clean sporty looking like my other rides. Eibachs, 18s and some blacked out headlights will be all I'll need as well as the body kit.

Cole, I'm getting 36 mpg on the freeway which is what most of my driving is. Compared to the 17 or so that my Silverado gets, this mileage is great. What I wasn't prepared for though was how much I really enjoy driving the Cobalt. But like the other dozen or more GM vehicles I've owned, I just can't leave it stock!
