Body Kits vs Ground Effects

I am in the market for a new rear bumper as some of you may know from previous posts. However i have noticed that alot of manufactures who claim to be setting body kits are in fact selling ground effect parts. For example when someone says body kit i think of an entire rear bumper, entire front bumper, and side skirts. When someone says ground effects i think of add-ons for front, rear and side. I was interested in getting the RKSport body kit but only the rear bumper. Come to find out its not a bumper but instead a bumper valance which is just a ground effect part. I then started to look at different body kits looking for something that came with a complete bumper and not just a valance. Every one such as Razzi, RKSport, & Erebuni are all valances. I looked at the AAS as well but the pics wouldnt load for me to be able to tell. I continued to look and the only "Body kit" that i can find that comes with an actual rear bumper is the Drifter. Im not practically fond of the style of it nor the price tags I have seen. I found others such as the Initial D that only come for the 4Dr model, and others on gravana tuning that only sell as a complete kit and not seperate parts. Im writing this today to see if anyone knows of any other kits that come with a full rear bumper besides the Drifter. If so please post the name of it and a link so the rest of us can check it out. Thanks

Ground effects is just another name for a body kit.

i think what you are thinking about is a lip kit. lip kits are different from body kit.

prolly but alot of manufactures still refer to them as body kits which is confusing to some people, especially if they dont look at everything very closely. Well back to the main reason for posting this, which is for full bumper replacements. Anyone know of a kit besides that drifter that offers one. Thanks

Lip kits are very mild, body kits are mild/medium and ground effects are more drastic in style.
