Bolt behind Chevy badge?

what size bolt is holding on the chevy badge on the front of the car??? i need to take it off so i can put my impala SS badge on

I've never understood why every other badge on the car can be a simple stick-on thing yet this one has to be held on with nuts.

Pull out on the badge. Like pull on the badge in the direction away from the car while trying to loosen the nuts, you have to catch on the first thread. Get what I mean?

Just be carefull or you will end up twisting that locator with the nut still on it and then you will be Fooked !

That's what I did, you are just spinning the nut around the locator. With the one side off try to pull ( GENTLY ) out away from the car as you try to loosen the other side. Just don't pull to hard or it will break. It's probably about the cheapest thing on the car.
