thanks blueberry for showing me what a white bowtie looked like
i had to do it myself

its drying did 6 coats of white gloss and 6 coats of clear

That looks sweet, good call on going over the chrome too, that looks really clean.

i taped the chrome off so that white paint is just on the tape

duplicolour makes an "instant chrome" spray paint thats like 8$, but I wonder how well this would look. As in would it look cheap as **** or actually decent? Anyone got a pic of a chrome badge?

yeah i was gonna grab the duplicolor but then i saw the krylon for plastics and got that instead with some clear coat of the same brand
it was also like 5 dollars a can cheaper

I used krylon for plastics too works and looks grate for bowties!

If you prepare the badge correctly instead of just putting it on cardboard & spraying, it'll stay on and wont chip. I'm skeptical about using Krylon Fusion, though. Sure its meant for plastic but not when its going 85mph on a highway with rocks/pebbles. Outside of a Krylon product, what else can be used and abused?
