my buddy just put to my notice that when i flash my brake lights repeatedly... my lights dont all flash as the same time.....

i recently put on a led 3rd brake light, but all thre flash a split second different.... it looks sweet as hell, but is this supose to do that? lol i dont want to get in trouble...

 

I'm assuming that you're saying that the third light comes on quicker than the 2 main lights....

That is normal. LEDs naturally illuminate a lot quicker than halogens do. That is why a lot of luxury cars use all LEDs for their brake lights. I guess people driving behind those cars have a quicker reaction time to brake since the lights illuminate quicker.

 

yeah but i dont think that the halogens come on at the same exact time either... its really wierd....

Even with my all LED tail lights, the third brake light still does not light up at the same time as the other two.

 

so you think its normal?
