Hey guys just got my 06 ss and one of the first things I'm going to do is clean up my brake area. It's gotta a lot of light rust on the calipers and other parts. I am planning on painting my calipers but what all do i need to do to make it look clean. Thanks.

 

Brakecleaner and a steelwhool brush would do ya some goods

 

That's what I was thinking. And what about painting my calipers? I have seen some CLEAN calipers from some of you guys and mine look like. Shiiiiiiiiiit.
