Broken Projector! PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey guys so i just bought a set of 3rd gen projectors off a guy on here. Well he didnt package them very well and i just took them out of the box to find the drivers hid broken. Well under further inspection so is the projector. If you look inside on the top is a black piece that the projector housing clips into to hold it in place and on the bottom part of the projector are the 2 adjusting screws in each side. Well the tab on the top snapped off so now the projector flops in and down. I got the small broken tab out that was floating in the headlight. But is there anything i can do to fix this or am i totally fucked?

Does anyone know if the projector headlights will come apart like the factory ones using an oven?

^^^Yes they do, I bought some first gens off ebay that were packaged poorly and had the same issue, but no tabs were broken. Both high beams were broken pointing down and the the projectors were all off alignment. So I baked them and took them apart and fixed everything and painted them black on top of it (they were chrome when i got them). But yes they come apart just like the stockers do. btw idk how the projectors in the 3rd gens are but the 1st gens are a pain in the ass to aim.

I usually bake the factory headlights for about 6 mins at 325 degrees. Just keep an eye on them. The sealant should get really soft that it almost pulls apart. If you really have to pry on them, put them back in the oven and warm them again. I have seen way too many broken tabs by people not knowing what they are doing.

I just put it on the lowest temp (about 200*F) for about 20 mins and they just came apart real easy. the glue gets super soft and its easy to pull apart, but look out cuz it gets kinda stringy too, don't let any get on the lenses. do keep an eye on them in the oven though, just in case, you don't want to melt them by accident
