Bumper still not working.

Well awhile back i posted how my bumper isn't bolt on right and how it moves to much well majority of people told me to tighten the bolts on the top of the bumper and they are tight as can be and its still is moving. it feels like there is nothing bolted on the front like is it bolted to the crash bar at all?

If you're talking the three bolts that hold the bumper to fender, make sure you have the little spacer piece in there. One for each side.

Has the bumper ever been removed or replaced? Mine was the same way after one of my buddies removed the bumper to remove the lip to repaint it. I took the car back to him and he took the bumper off and noticed that he had forgotten to put the bumper absorber impact foam thing back when reinstalling the bumper. This foam piece goes between the bumper cover and the bar and makes the bumper a lot more snug to the car. Without it installed the bumper would sag and move around very easily.

The foam is still there and there is the spacer in between the bolts.

Your bumper will move slightly. In all honesty Gm did crappy work as far as re-enforcing many parts of this car. Mine wiggles a tad bit, nothing noticeable though.

I've seen his bumper in person and it's not normal, it has far too much "play" up & down

having never taken mine off, I didn't know what to tell him.

Try pulling your headlights out, and tighten on the fender bolts.
