Caliper Covers: Gauging Interest...

The covers are made out of alum. thats powdercoated (black, red, yellow, or it can be left plain alum) then a high quality 3m tape is apply to stick it to the caliper. These have been on some of our cars here since 2004-2005.

We are still trying to gather a price but for 4 we are expecting under 100 dollars.

Let me know if anyone here is interested or mainly if someone is in the Dayton, OH area that would like to come out and get a test fit and a free set to make sure they work.

we make 3 sizes that cover a bunch of universal fits... 6 inch wide 7 inch and 9 inch.

you guys could measure your front and rears and we can size them up to whats needed...

also... I have been working with a sign shop about adding logo's on to them. Im sure I could get SS or redline on them.

how do you post pictures? I cannot post links either...?

Interest List...
O riginaladrian - 2.2L
Switt23 - 2.2L
T800 - 2.2L
Boossted 06 - 2.0

Now with the heat generated would the 3m double sided tape work. If it fails that could spell trouble. Why not have them fabricated so that they use the stock caliber retetainer bolts at the back of the caliper. That would be much better and safer. I would be interested if it was designed that way.

Just a thought.

Shouldnt be too hard to fabricate either since they already have the cover. All thats needed would like a tab extending out with a bolt hole or just a hole in the cover depending on where the bolt sits.

the 3m tape we buy is designed for high temp applications. And im pretty sure 3m tape is used to hold on a bunch of different spoilers from the factory.

they have been on a guys cavy, mustang, and a jeep liberty since 2005. They will not go anywhere and have fun taking them off lol

but we would have to make a die for each car application to bolt on the rear. IE much more expensive...

does anyone know the width of your front and rear caliper?? as in the length along the face of the rotor the covers will hide.

yeah we had them on some of our company employee's cars since '05.

You could always make your own brackets if you dont trust the tape...

Once someone tells me the size of their calipers I can get a price together...

Who can tell me about becoming a vendor? Can I get a group buy in order first to just see who all is interested?

hmm could be interesting but at $100 that seems like a lot since the caliper paint kit is like $20

I might be interested in some red ones.. I would want to see how they look on a car before I think it might look tacky compared to clean painted calipers
