If i get a lot a hype I will fork the money to become a vendor.
$80 for a set of 4 isn't bad at all. Will they just be solid colored then, or include a logo like you had previously mentioned? Doesn't matter either way....they'd just look sick with the logo! Can't wait to see pics.

also I think $5 dollars for shipping sounds fair? The price after the group buy will go up however buy them now! Looks like I will plunge into the vendor arena here. Looks like I will have to find a SS on the dealership since wickedss never called... do the non supercharged SS's have the same brake package as the supercharged ones?

im still tinkering with the logo it will not be that much more to add if i do it but im not sure about the copywrites on the SS badge. Unless there is something else you guys would like to see.

How will these affect the maintenance of the brakes? If I change my pads, I use a C-clamp to compress the piston. Will this interfere? Will the 3M hold when the C-clamp is squeezed on the caliper?

I just want make sure this doesn't interfere with any brake maintenance.

good question but the caliper piston you would c-clamp onto will be on the rear portion the covers are on the front. You would just have the treaded portion of the c-clip on the back of the caliper and the bent shape on your caliper piston.

there are like three companies that have them. I didnt want to post them up cause i didnt want to direct people else where, i was just giving you the sizes

im guessing you guys have a website, and one of the 3 ive seen is yours, if your in tipp city, ohio that is. the others dont look like yours, they are meant to look like brembo and wilwood calipers(which is just cheesy in my opinion)

boossted06 is correct...

after talking with my co workers we have any many different vendors since 2005.

The only one currently buying is www.tuner01.com he is doing the same thing im doing trying to market them to you! He is more minded towards the bmw's and other european cars.

www.cal-covers.com they was one of our first vendors they have gone belly up out of business and still owe us some money I guess.

both of them claim to hold the patent, but they buy the stock from us. then sticker them with their logos and so on...

we have no means on getting carbon fiber. tuner01 was sending them over the china i believe to get that done. we are working strickly on powdercoat.

orange might be a special order and you might have to wait a little longer after ordering those and pay a little extra. black red yellow and blue are the big runners at the shops.

updates would be this weekend I will go to the dealer to measure up a SS on their lot for sizes. And sometime soon I should have pictures of mounts on a standard cobalt and my scion xb!!

I have had no feedback also on what logos you guys would like to see on the covers. I am a unsure if I could put SS on them due to copywrites. Anyone know?

awwwWwwwWWWwWw ya killin me!!!! j/k they don't really look cheesy though like I thought they would, they're nice and close, but I do think the 3m tape thing wont work. I've had a lot of experience with 3m tape stuff, and it's generally crap. add a few bucks for a bolt-on option!!

I agree tape is a bad idea, If some one dose not clean the caliper right befor application the cover could fall off and become a driving hazard, you should have a bolt on version

that will be the the instructions to clean and remove old brake paint if needed with wire brush or sandpaper. I dont know what 3m tape you had bad luck with I know the store stuff is crap but VHB is amazing what it can do.

as for bolt on's we tried that and the first set we had on a cavy was bolt on to the rear two bolts. after awhile the cover bent up and was rubbing the wheel trust me the tape is much better!

and nothing is stopping you guys from using two screws drilled and taped into the top of your caliper for extra strength for those that question the tape.
