Thanks for the input guys..

^I know imports can pull it off but the whole domestic/CF/black car combo still has me questioning...

I am dying to see a black cobalt w/ a simple CF hood and trunk..

just think about this race cars use cf for its lightness so your car gets lighter you go faster. looking good is one thing going faster that what you need.

I'm not into the whole weight reduction reasoning for CF. Just the looks part.

I've never seen a CF hood/trunk on a black cobalt which is why I don't know if I like it or not. I don't care what other people say once my decision is made up and I see it for myself. Why do you think I've been trying so hard to get someone with a black cobalt w/ CF hood/trunk to post pictures up on here...

CF Tec in Hamilton, Ontario. They have a website: www.cf-tec.com
I have heard that they do really good work and guarantee a good fit. I have a buddy that owns a shop a little south of TO and he sends all his carbon fiber work that way. They UV clearcoat too to prevent yellowing. $700 all in is an amazing deal so check them out if you want

If I wanted CF for "performance" I would just get a plain CF hood and have it painted black to match my factory paint. Looks the same, weight reduction with no rice. NICE.

I personally like black on black. No CF. I think it makes a black car look dirty.

im planning on buyingan oem cf hood and an oem cf trunk. and i have a black cobalt. i think it will look sexy! but to bring it all together im painting the edges of the hood black, and getting the rims powdercoated a darkgrey/gunmetal color to bring the 2 colors 2gether.

Carbon Fiber

Alright so I finally got the hood and trunk from CF Technologies in Hamilton. I was very impressed with the hood, pretty much perfect. The trunk had minor blemishes on it but overall I am satisfied with the end results. Here are some pictures I took with my iPhone:

I like the sleek look of the cobalt without the wing personally. And now I can actually see out of the rear now lol
