CAN BUS LED Signals?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I haven't found a definitive answer yet. Are CAN BUS LED's suitable for turn signal applications? I am not a big fan of the switchbacks (one of few I'm sure) and just want straight up amber 3157 bulbs in the front, and red 3157 bulbs in the back. Do I still need a resistor or flasher if I use the CAN BUS bulbs?

You don't need to buy CB's just to have a solid color, there are regular LED bulbs that are solid amber/red/white/etc, you just need the right bulb type. I've outfitted my exterior lighting with bulbs from VLED's. SuperBrightLED's is good too.
If you can replace your flasher unit that's the easier route, at least it was for me. Or you can use load resistors. Otherwise you will have hyperblink.
