Can't find tail light covers anywhere!

Tried tinting, did fine but the tint was so light it made almost no difference, pissed about that. I don't want to nightshade unless I have to. Why cant I find any covers?

Tones013 - I have a pair of AVS tail light covers... they don't completely cover the entire tail light but they do kinda black out the sides. You should google an image of them. I don't use them anymore, so if you would like I can give them to you for a very small price.

try getting a darker overlay. I've seen some tints done well. You can just get some window tint and cut to fit yourself. Try getting like a 15-20% tint

Car is a little dirty, don't mind that, but I stopped looking for the damn covers, picked up and used the VHT Nightshades. Turned out ok, going to wet sand and maybe a clear coat?

Lights off

i love my smoked tails, but troopers are on the lookout for them....
they see black and thats it, no matter if its red enough.

oh, and if you move to texas, they wont pass inspection, and that is required in texas, inspection stickers.

No night shade. Get them professionally painted. Much better results and lasts along time

It is legal. Just can't be too dark and you have to be able to see red

It is legal. Just can't be too dark and you have to be able to see red

the lights have to REFLECT RED, not just see red. when you spray anything over them, you are defeating the REFLECTION.

so like i said, its ILLEGAL. go to any inspection station and pass it with smoked tails.

You don't have to prove anything to me..I've been told that mine are legal and I haven't got in trouble for them.

Oh and my lights do reflect red up to 1000 ft.

Omg it depends on how dark they are. If its all black then yes. If you can see the red reflection from a certain distance then they are legal.
