Car wax removal?

Car wax removal?

I got some wax on the rough plastic on the mirrors and weather striping.. how do u remove it?

Personally I like using ICE wax. You can wax everything but glass, lol.

lol i know i think i saw the meguiars jar and probably typed it because of that. . .


at any rate, I've had good luck with it and not only does it remove it but makes it look better!

i got some wax on the front grille when waxing the car and it proves to be a real bitch to get off since it has tiny dimples through out the whole thing... you think that wax eraser **** would work on that?

def dude. and would dish soap take that off? i kno when you wash a car w/ dish soap, it takes the wax off the paint, so im guessing it would work on the plastic/weather strips as well?

My father in law (a professional detailer) has been raving about ICE wax. I was hesitant to use it as i figured it didn't work very well and I've got some nice expensive waxes, but it works amazing on black plastics. I'll normally wax my car with the good stuff then hit all the blacks with ICE now, works great at removing white waxes and makes the plastic look new.
