Carbon fiber front lip (Cobalt SS 05-07+)
forgot about this thread.
the lip that is pictured on my car above was made by a company that never got off the ground. it was their prototype of the ss and i beleive it was the only one made.

no they just told me 2 send them a template of the underside of the front bumper and they would make one...............sort of a custom thing .............but we might be able 2 talk 2 them and get a group thing going or something...........they would look sort of like the on in the pic above

There was a previous thread related to this and has not been updated in a timely fashion (or at all) in a long time. I am therefor taking project management and going to being sourcing the pricing, design, and production of this. I have emailed a well known and quality company (also from the previous thread) Allied Composites, asking for designs and quotes. The email follows; I will be updating this at least once a week if not more depending on communication. This is simply a measurement of interest, if we get to a production stage, I will be signing up as a supporting vendor and formally taking orders.

I remember that thread and if I am correct that company is located in Calgary. If they need a car to do measurements on I am more then willing to take my car to them to look at it. Just give me a shout when you find out!! I could always use a free prototype.
And if there are any other parts that they want to do....they can use my car as well. Say a full CF rear wing for the SS S/C??

just so you guys know...the company that spike it contacting will most likely be making a front wind splitter that is picture above on the srt4. for those wanting something similar to the wrx version or a piece to go on the lip of the bumper will most likely be dissapointed.
i have spoken to a rep a seibon and they said anything we want done they can do carbon fiber they just need parts as tempates... I was trying to buy parts like a hood, lip , trunk, wing anything that we want... They told me if i give them the parts they can make the pieces... The only bad thing is the original part will not be returned... Plus they dont want cars to come in they want parts and parts alone... So anyone willing to sell me those parts contact me with info and prices

subscribing. my buddy has a saturn sc2 with a full cf lip kit, and it's similar to what reign showed on the wrx. i personally like the splitter. i don't like the flat splitter however. it's just ugly.

somone on here was selling a whole SS/SC factory lip kit you might be able to search and find it. if you bought it I'd say send them all the parts and they can make a complete factory replacement in carbon fiber of course

If you can find the Grand am cup Cobalt build book, A company was building a carbonfiber front lip with brake cooling connections. In the back of the book it had a part number. I have search GM Tuner, but they no longer seem to have that for download anymore.
