Carbon Fiber hood issues

So who out there has experience with carbon fiber hoods? I really like mine but I'm at my wits end with it. Fittament and warping have been an issue since I got it and not one of the bolts that hold in the hood strut mount has worked its way out. Is there anything I can do to fix my warping and the hole or should i just cut my losses and go back stock?

I don't think hood pins have anything to do with fitment. They just the secure the hood so it doesn't fly off.

I didn't think you were supposed to use the hood strut because it causes warping.

My CF hood doesn't fit exactly the way the stock hood does but I have yet to see a carbon fiber hood that fits perfectly. Everyone I know with a CF hood sits weird. All I did was undo the latch and slide it down as far as it could go so it doesn't shutter when I'm driving. Hood pins do nothing for fitment. They're just there to secure the hood if you decide to remove the latch entirely.
