you cant tell when the stock hood was on, with this hood tho you can tell theyre tight. it lifts fine no problem and whatnot you cant feel any resistance
I just put mine on last night, and for the strut, we drilled a tiny hole at the top and released the pressure (air). We then drilled a hole at the top and the bottom of the smaller rod (goes inside the shock) just the same size as a cotter pin. So when i close the hood I put it in the lower hole, shut it and its good, when I open the hood I put the pin up in the top hole and the strut piece rests down on the pin
Works GREAT! Right now i Have small keychain of a piston hanging on it...cause I lost the rist pin hahahaha. But I want to get one of the red "remove before flight" things they use on jets to hang on there :P
Ill take a short vid of it later so youget the idea...
