what is the difference between single sided carbon firber and double sided carbon firber?
and does any one have one of theis hoods?

and are their any other companies that are selling carbon firber oem style hoods? that also sell carbon firber trunk lids?

Single sided hoods are only carbon fiber on the outside, for appearance purposes. Double sided carbon fber hoods are for appearance and weight.

If ya just want the carbon fiber look go single sided.
If ya want the look, plus less weight, go double sided.

 

how much lighter is the double-sided? i'm sure it isnt worth the money difference

 

dunno man, guess is depends on what they use on the backside. I'm guessing fiberglass.
I have a fiberglass ram-air hood for my camaro, and its about just as heavy as the steel hood.

 

Wikkymaster has one of Gravana's hoods. Shoot him a PM. And there other companies making hoods. RK Sport has a functional ram air Carbon Fiber hood, but it's a little more expensive.
